China Glaze Exquisite Nail Polish had been released last 2012 as part of the China Glaze Breast Cancer Awareness Collection which is called United In Purpose Collection.

This is the first China Glaze nail lacquer I’ve purchased in a long time. I’ve stopped buying their nail polishes years ago because I’ve been unhappy with my previous purchases.

I must say that I really like this one, though. It caught my eye because it’s pink and it has shimmers. It took me a long while to finally review this because I had a hard time opening the bottle.

When it said “Nail Lacquer with Hardeners“, I know that it’s meant to harden the nails once applied. I didn’t realize that it will also harden inside the bottle, specifically at the bottle screw, so I had a hard time trying to twist the bottle cap open. Lol!

CHINA GLAZE says:

Long-wearing, beautifully-shiny, fashion-forward, carcinogenic-free, celeb-fave, manicurist’s best friend, loving and living in colour.

WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT

China Glaze is a professional-level nail enamel made with a special balance of polymers and resins that combine to create a nail lacquer that is long lasting, chip-resistant and resistant to color and shine fading. Will not thicken in the bottle, no thinners necessary.

CHINA GLAZE NAIL LACQUER WITH HARDENERS EXQUISITE

China Glaze Exquisite is a light bubblegum pink with a shimmery finish. It has silver micro shimmers that are evident in the bottle, and also on the nails. It is a little bright and a bit cool-toned.

However, it is a bit sheer. With one coat, it’s really sheer, although the brush strokes are not noticeable. The nail line can still be seen even when two coats is applied because it’s still a bit sheer.

Like in the photos for this post, I usually apply three coats for a more even and slightly opaque coverage.

China Glaze Exquisite Nail Lacquer, although not runny, has a slightly thin consistency. It applies like a dream and I’m able to finish application in no time at all.

The brush glides smoothly over my nails and is able to distribute the color and shimmer across the nails with no problem at all. I also didn’t experience any bubbles nor streaking.

It takes about 5 minutes for each coat to dry. For the first coat, though, I only wait around 2 to 3 minutes before I start applying the second coat.

China Glaze Nail Polish Swatches

On my nails, it is a light but bright, shimmery bubblegum pink. It’s already very beautiful even without a top coat. The finish is very shimmery, almost metallic, and applying a top coat will give it a more shiny finish.

For the photos in this post, though, I didn’t use a top coat to show the true finish and color of Exquisite. As you can see, it’s already very pretty by itself. Without a top coat, it lasts around 4 to 5 days on me before it fades around the edges.

APPLICATION TIPS:

I believe that China Glaze Exquisite is a great nail color for Spring. I bought it for Php350 from Robinsons Manila and I think that it’s a really great buy.

I’m glad that I was still able to buy this color because I love it so much! Pink and shimmery nail polish equals Love. It’s really worth the price I paid for it, and worth the effort in trying to open the bottle. Lol!
